Out this week:
Backlist titles soon to be available on your Kindle + others (maybe) (August 2012):
The Odd Interludes by Dean Koontz has been out for a bit already. I only mention them because the reviews have been so positive. I have a history with this author. I read the first Odd book, Odd Thomas, several years ago. The story features a short order cook who can communicate with the dead. Yes, even Elvis makes an appearance. The first book was decent but it ended tragically and my romance self was devastated. I never read the second book but the novellas have caught my eye because of the reviews. I loved Lightning by Koontz and have read a few of his titles. He tends to get a bit verbose but he’s excellent at writing action and dialogue. I may check out the novellas. Meanwhile, Karin Slaughter is giving away Criminal T-shirts to coincide with her new book, Criminal, for the first fifty orders at The Poisoned Pen and dammit, I see the reviews are again, very positive. Still, I shall wait. On the personal front, I just finished writing my thoughts about Malla Nunn’s Blessed Are the Dead and I’m reading Kem Nunn’s book, Tapping the Source which is said be classic noir surfer novel and the inspiration for the movie, Point Break. Will have a review up soon. Have a Happy Fourth!

Keishon – A few of these look really interesting! I’m especially looking forward to the Ridley Pearsons. My book budget, however, is not!
Look forward to hearing what you think of Ridley Pearson, Margot.
thanks for your recommendation of The Pied Piper. Entirely due to it, I bought and read the book recently, and very much enjoyed it. http://petronatwo.wordpress.com/2012/06/26/book-review-the-pied-piper-by-ridley-pearson/
Thanks again!
I left you a comment.
Thanks!
Finished Slaughter’s “Criminal” the other day, Keishon. Excellent. A bit of a flip-flop start bouncing between 1975 and present day, but it stabilized, then totally took off. I loved it and wish the next book were already here. Anxious to hear your comments if you decide to read it.
Yes, I will read it grrrrr and thank for the feedback Tee!
