    The real thing here is, when she pays for the new e-reader (or loses a whole lot of money in a lawsuit) he will still have those books, downloaded on to the new e-reader. If he takes her book and tosses it in the incinerator and then buys her a new book, she still has only one book.
    What an asocial cartoon.
