Esquire Interview with Daniel Craig Briefly Talking About The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

July 9, 2011 — 9 Comments

There’s a long, rambling Esquire interview where Daniel Craig briefly discusses the most anticipated movie this year, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, the U.S. version that’s coming out right around Christmas time. I’m not surprised by Daniel Craig’s shock at how violent and dark this film promises to be because… I saw the movie poster (warning: NSFW). Yes, yes I plan to see this movie. Don’t judge me.

  1. That Lisbeth looks very scary to me. And not in an attractive way…

  2. I’ll probably see the movie too, even though I’ve seen the Swedish original twice. I agree about the poster, seems somewhat to be pornifying Lisbeth. (There was lots about this movie in the Times this weekend too, but as they put their website behind a paywall and you can’t even link to it, i can’t provide a link!).

  3. Maybe I’ll be watching with my hands over my eyes? Even though I’ve seen the Swedish versions, Craig’s comments about how shocked he was is alarming.

  4. Loved the movie and the cast

  5. Hi Sonya, did you watch the European version as well? Thanks for the feedback.
